A Day at the River

Taken on a recent bike ride in Salem, OR to the Willamette River.

I went for a 16X9 format on this just to see how it looks, and I like it. But after posting, I decided to crop a little more. (Mouse over to see original post. Mouse over tutorial on right.) Is the crop better?

It looks peaceful the way it is! Lovely summer shot.

love it - cropped brings out the beauty for me :)

the cropped version looks better for me as it shows the expansive view of the river and brings the viewer closer to the people.

oh! the sepia tone does justice to that day by the river.

I like the cropped view with the people in the shot. If it hadn't had people I would have liked the longer view. Nice work! Thanks for visiting my blog.

With the poeple in the cropped view seems to be the better option

Yep, I like it cropped as well. It brings the scenery to the people who are playing there.
