"That is Sick!"

That is what Josh said, pictured below. I say it is awesome. Perspective of time, same result. Very well done Josh. You can fly. :-)

Thank you for allowing me to photograph you today. If you are up for it again, send me an email. I would like to do a better job.

A Pretty New Building

I just like the colors of this building against the blue sky. Pretty building!

And, a Yorkie. She's for sale.........

Baby Moos

William wanted a horse picture but he likes this cow picture too.

And a daily of the memorial.......

I added some grain to this & darkened the edges as well as making it B&W. Is putting grain *in* that good or bad? I added grain yesterday too. (All this technology to get away from any image imperfections and I do this.) I guess it takes me back to my Tri-X film and newspaper days more than 30 years ago. (YIKES!!!)

Story Time (7 images): Veteran's Monument

On my walk today with the kids, we saw these volunteers working hard in the warmth of the day putting together the memorial here in Scio. It is to be done by the 4th of July. It looks very cool. I wish I had the time or skills needed to help but I have neither. Good job guys!

Opposite Ends

A couple from near Lebanon, OR today. Mc Dowell Creek Falls & a car show in a parking lot. Them's opposites. :-)

A Rose is a Rose is a Rose

Some day soon I am going to have to leave the yard to get a photo for the day. So far, however, I am doing fine. Perhaps tomorrow I'll venture out.

William's Ride

He loves his new car. Got it free at a grage sale a few weeks ago, rebuilt the switches, cleaned mud out of the gearboxes and motors, put a battery in it and it works! He figured out how to go backwards yesterday. I took these while waiting for a good bird photo (below) which never happened. I'll take William instead. :-)

30 second exposure

I was woke up by "Potty Hounds" (dogs had to go out) at 1:40am and noticed the fog and could not resist. I'm up for a half hour in the middle of the night but hey, I have my photo for the day!

Nice Osprey image. There were *many* others. See Kelly's blog for a couple more....

This was a surprise, getting the moon in the shot! Very cool. (NOT Photoshopped!)

Newborn American Bison

Had I been there 5 minutes earlier with the right lens you would be seeing a Bison being born! As it is, I believe this is the first time standing for this American icon. This was very cool.

For the Birds

I had no idea this would come out like this. I really like it. Is it worthy?

I know, not exactly "art" but valid as a statement of life and death.

From around the yard on this dreary day. I like the soft green background.
