Swallow at Home

I got this little guy peeking out of her home. I'm sure she didn't like me poking around with my camera.

Dasies 3

After a quick June shower yesterday, out pops the sun. I couldn't resist.

Ride On

Following a couple (literally) on their Harley motorcycles on a sunny day, out for what looked like a leisure ride in the country. We were on a pleasure drive, so why not. :-)

Building

Not taken with my expensive DSLR and fantastic lenses not my new pocket Q camera but my lowly (nearly) 2 year old cell phone. I found this building in downtown Salem while waiting for my family. I discovered I need to walk around there more as there is so much more to see! Lovely town.

Osprey Takes Flight

This big boy taking off from his perch recently. They seem to have taken their time returning to nest this year, later than normal, I was getting worried. Looks like everything is fine though. First image is the male, second is the female Osprey.

Forrest Trillium

I love Trillium flowers. Very short lived and a little hard to find. They start out white and then pinkish, like this one, as they age. I think I got this one right! :-)

Distant Train

I saw the train lights in the distance so decided to stop and wait for it to get a shot or two of it passing. I waited.....and waited...... it didn't move. SO, I have a few shots like this. :-) No idea what he was waiting for, literally out in the middle of nowhere with the side-line fill of parked cars. Oh well, a nice stop for a photograph.
