2 for the Birds

A couple from the yard while out playing practicing with the 150-500 a couple days ago. Not too bad but I have determined that I need a new tripod. Camera shake is horrible! The slightest touch sends the whole set up bouncing.

I'm noticing an abundance or robins where I live this spring. Unfortunately I've been unable to get a picture of one. Of course, I don't have a 500 mm lens!

Robins, that's what I'm waiting for. Please send some soon!
That is the thing with a long lens, stability and getting that f-stop up to around 7.1 or 8. Miracles will start to happen!

Sharp and clear captures of this robin!

The only way to overcome camera shake is a tripod. Problem is that one doesn't always have one handy

Wow, that must be quite a lens. And you'll have lots of play time!
