White Crocus

Not really a "white crocus" but you get the idea. It was a lovely dusting of snow the other day. We only see snow once every other year and it is a treat. (Not to those who endure it for months every year, I know.)

I am really amazed looking at snow photos such as this one. I live in a tropical country, that's why. =) Nice photo.

These first flowers of spring must be hearty. I noticed one in my garden this morning as well.

The promise of new life shines from your photo.
The strength of so small and fragile a flower to withstand the elements is amazing.

We get no snow at all. Not even close. So I agree. Those who does get much may not like the idea, but I do.

Snow in Scio? That is unusual, I know! Those persistent little crocuses are truly wonderful. I think it will be a little longer before mine appear here in the NE corner of the state.
