Side Stepping Beach Creature

This is one little guy, perhaps an inch (25mm) foot to foot the long way. Another beach comber found it and we had to look too!

Thanks for visiting my blog. You said you'd like to have the background out of focus but was having trouble getting that effect. The secret is to have your camera on macro setting, to put the center focus thingy right on what you want to focus, press the shutter halfway down, then move the camera around so that what you want to focus on is not dead center, probably. Press the shutter all the way in AFTER composing and you'll be amazed at how cool it can look. Hope this helps.
