Walk on the Beach

I know, similar to yesterday, but different. I like it and it fits the theme. What are you going to do! :-)

My son William (5yrs old) playing in the surf. I would not let him get too wet, not wanting to soak his shoes. e did later take them off, already soaked. He decided that the water was too cold then. :-)

That's a beautiful beach shot. You not only captured the drama of the low sun but the feel of cold on the beach.

What a great reflection, Perry! Yes, I can feel the cold, but it's still fun and particularly when you're five years old! Happy 4th of July! Have a wonderful weekend!

Nice silhouette against the silvery sun. I've never known a child on a beach who didn't end up wet - however cold it is!

Amazing how much life a solitary person can inject into an image. Excellent shot!

It's a beautiful, wonderful photo! But it's the story about your son that really made my day. Hahaha, kids. ;)

Beautiful photo. Your son's silhouette makes it so much more interesting, but even without that it would have been a fine shot.

What a lovely photo. Such a soft light and soft colors in it.

This is a beautiful capture of the sun setting on the beach with your son and his reflection making a lovely anchor. Your story makes it all the more heart-warming. (Only because you ask and strictly from a photography standpoint: I'd have your son walking IN toward the sun reflection instead out out... that's where the eye moves to.)

Does the water get warm? The surf looks ok.

Happy 4th of July.
