Bugle Player

11pm last I hear a haunting horn in an empty parking lot. I went to investigate and there I met Hezeliah the bugler playing sometimes 2 bugles. It was very cool to hear and he was very gracious to allow me to photograph him.

Hi.
Both are good, particularly considering the lighting. I really like the unusual quality of the first photo.

I agree - the lighting, especially the top photo, is exquisite. The picture has a very mysterious and haunting quality that sparks my imagination.

I enjoy the two shots together. I always lean toward the close up/detail myself, that's my first instinct, but I generally also take the panned out version later, and here that adds to the aura of what's going on and the personality of the photo and the subject.

There used to be a sax player that hung in one of the garages near where I live. I miss him.
