Rose Reaching

Another rose reaching for the sky, but a little different than earlier this week. Actually, just thought I would see if I could edit the image to get anything. It is ok I think..... Mouse over for before image.

Captured with Pentax K-7 with 90mm macro lens. Edited in PS3: Straightened, cropped and a lot of clone tool to make a bud go away.

Visit SkyWatch Friday for more photos of above!

Exquisite capture, terrific composition! Love that blue sky and the rose sets if off perfectly. Thanks, Perry, for participating in Sky Watch! Have a great weekend!

I love getting the flowers against a pure blue background like that! It seems to accentuate the colours of the flowers!!!

There is always a bud, or errant leaf, that gets in the way!
Nicely done.

I rather like that 'mouse over' technique, too.
