Here is what Majestic Falls normally looks like, from June of 08....
(More McDowell ice photos in the next couple days..... Now that the chaos of finals week at school is over!)
Visit Scenic Sunday for more scenic photography!
Pictures of what I see, when they happen.
My goal is to show something new every week from where I live, work and play.
Please leave a comment and let me know you are watching. Also, if you have something to say that makes the image better, please say so. Granted, we all try to do our best. But unless we get genuine feedback on how we can be better, how can we become better? I always try to learn. So please, let me know what does not work as well as what does work.
Thank you

Amazing capture. Is that a bird frozen in the middle? I googled to see what it would look like if it was flowing. Is this it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/dan_photoman/1317465456/
Cool shot of the frozen falls and creek. Have a great weekend.
Amazing how a rush stream and waterfall can freeze over like this.
Amazing. My friend in Japan photographed a frozen water fall there a year ago. That was also quite a stunning sight.
Nice Image, I hear is has been cold on the west coast.
Wow, do you have a toboggan?
Lovely textures, looks pretty cold though. Thanks for sharing:)
Hi Perry,
How did you design that favicon - the small logo - into your blog?
Thanks and Regards

Wow! That's quite the change! Good job stitching it all together.
