For the Birds

Watering the dogs I noticed the birds are loving the cherries just as much as we are. So, a couple of the little thieves. :-) May as well I guess. We didn't pick hardly any this year, left them for the birds.

What a feast! I'm sure they're enjoying the fruits of your labor.

We had the same issue with the birds in the cherry tree, which had hardly any cherries this year anyway! Ours are mostly robins though. I have also seen western tanagers, a bunch of unidentified birds, a red headed sapsucker, and a couple of squirrels up there.

At least I haven't had to chase the raccoon out of the tree in a couple years. I think she's moved out of the area.
