I forgot about this image and found it while looking for something else. This Blue Heron was searching for lunch during low tide at Seal Rocks on the Oregon coast. I was really surprised how long he stayed around and posed and the first time I had seen a heron searching for food in salt water. Guess I should not have been surprised as it all eats! :-)

Gorgeous background in this photo, Perry! Very nice!
Great shot!
The Blue Heron is so beautiful, wish I could see one here.
Have a beautiful Sunday.
What a beauty! I like the heron's royal pose.
Great shot! Blue Herons are so pretty and the coastal scene is fantastic.
Great composition and colours, thanks for visting:)
Beautiful shot, beautiful bird. I don't see many blue herons around here. We have the little stumpy Black-crowned Night Herons, which are cute, too, but not as majestic as your fella.
That's a beautiful shot!
First time I've seen a heron by salt water. Great find.
she's posing just for you.
