Oregon State Capitol Mall

Out looking for something to do, kill time while my wife is at the spa, I happened upon the cherry blossoms and blue skies at the capitol mall. I have lived in Oregon all my life, except while in the military, and I have never seen the cherry trees in their full glory before. It was incredible, awesome and spectacular all at once. there were quite a few of us out with our cameras this day. I with my fisheye (again) but most other shooters had a longer lens. I would not have shot it any other way. :-) the next day it rained and has been pretty much every day sense. As always, click on the image to see a larger view then click on the left or right for previous or next.

I love this view with the fisheye! What a cool new perspective ... especially the fountain in the first shot.

I was in Philly at Fairmount Park this weekend for the Cherry Blossom Festivities and our trees were in full bloom too. It was wonderful!

I love 'em all! Aside from the fact that the place is already beautiful, you were so creative to have used fisheye! Awesome! Here's my entry. Hope you can also check it out. Thanks!

Your fish eye is coming in very handy. I can see spring has well and truly set in if I look at the blossoms on the trees.
