Thomas Creek, Scio
I tried for days to get the eun just right, sitting between the trees over the creek. Soon after this image was taken the clouds moved in and this is as close as I got. I much prefer the just down sun to the nearly down sun. I'll try again next year.

Might not be exactly what you're after, but it's still an excellent photograph.
I agree with Marka, it might not be exactly what you wanted, but it is a breathtaking capture nevertheless! Glorious colors and superb composition! Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend, Perry!

Now this is even more stunning than the waterfall shots. I tend to take photos of the sunset before the sun disappears, but should do more like these.
