Stump at Low Tide

I liked the look of this stump on the Umpqua River in Florence, OR at low tide. So, you get a couple views. B&W is straight out of the camera with its built in conversions. Not too bad I think......

Not bad at all!!!
I like how it gets clear and clear the closer to me and with the misty background - very good shot!
(I only would like the horizontal line a bit corrected - but that's only my oppinion)
Happy SS!

The first shot stands out indeed. Looks peaceful and cold.

Great stump. It almost looks like an animal.

That stump is a great shape, and I like the mud patterns too.

You have captured that certain mood only the beach can provide!
Excellent!

Not bad, not bad at all. I like that stump and it's begging for a close in shot. You might want to try shooting in color (bite my tongue) and converting to B&W using your favorite image editor. This gives you far more control than the camera settings.
