I took these recently while at a trip to the Portland Zoo participating in the World Wide Photowalk. There will be others from the photowalk/zoo to follow.

Strike a pose
This little guy, from the Portland (Oregon) Zoo, was the most cooperative of posers there! Always moving, looking, striking a new pose.

Not Sensor dust!
William at a small lake throwing a couple handfulls of rocks into the lake. He had fun and made some great splashes! I like this image because of the rock pattern in an arc in front of him.

Reflection #2
WHOOPS! I accidently posted the same image as a couple days ago. Old removed and updated.
Both Reflection #1 from a couple days ago and this one are taken of stuff on or by Foster Lake early in the morning.

Jump!!
Or more like fall......
Local kids jump off of this bridge every summer for the thrill and to cool off. No worries, more than 40 feet deep here and no bad things to go bump on. The climb back up is rough so usually you will see a pair of shoes follow the jumper in. :-)

A study of Dragon Flies
In a small fishing pond by the lake there were many types of these flying fellows. They are fairly shy but with a little patience (and some cropping) I have these......

What we were really doing this past weekend......
We went camping at Sunnyside county park near Sweet Home, Oregon. The boat went back in the water after a 3 year dry spell. William wnet on the boat as a baby and did not remember being on it before. Now he knows what it is in the garage and cried wildly when we left, never wanting to go home. Cyndy caught a nice trout and we all had fun!

Scolded by mommy
She didn't want me any closer to her nest but I wasted her photo! (The babies were only a few feet away.)
