These birds are fun to watch, so very graceful and coordinated in flight. Like a highly choreographed dance in the sky over the crashing waves.

Pictures of what I see, when they happen.
My goal is to show something new every week from where I live, work and play.
Please leave a comment and let me know you are watching. Also, if you have something to say that makes the image better, please say so. Granted, we all try to do our best. But unless we get genuine feedback on how we can be better, how can we become better? I always try to learn. So please, let me know what does not work as well as what does work.
Thank you

That is a cool shot! Looks like the coast is the place to be!!! Weird here, calm, warm, no wind and overcast.
Great shot, the waves are brilliant and you captured them perfectly, and the Pelican flight formation is perfect too the composition of this shot is spot on.
I have never seen a life wild pelican. Its not something we have around here where I live. I didn't know that they also flew in groups and in formation like that.
We have pelicans out here at Pyramid Lake, but I have never seen them fly in a row like that, what a beautiful picture!
what a cool formation! nice shot! sj
Thanks! They are very cool flying up then diving in close over a big wave for the chance to have a bite. There is another here in black & white, perhaps the better of the two.
