Weddle Bridge

Originally built in 1937 and spanned Thomas Creek. Dismantled in 1987 when overloaded by a truck and reconstructed in Sweet Home in 1990 over Ames Creek.

Yellow you say? Why yes, yes it is. Today is field burning day for the grass seed industry and everything is yellow-orange.

I hope the covered bridge series was something worth seeing. There are more here in Oregon but the next nearest is quite a drive. But next time I am in that area.........

Cool shot even if it is tinted slightly yellow! Next weekend I will be in that very same park in Sweet Home for the Oregon Jamboree.
