Sun Over the Valley

Another from Fitton Green overlooking the Willamette Valley. It was cold but not bad and the sights were awesome. I'm wondering what the fall might bring from there, as in colors on the surrounding hills.

So pretty. The flare of the sun is really neat.

Fitton Green is a favorite place of ours, and our family actually helped construct one of the hiking trails there! We walk our dogs there quite a lot. Beautiful picture.

I nearly had to put on sun shades to look at this lovely sight. Very nicely done.

The sun flare looks so much like a huge star shining on a beautiful winter scene!

I second on the comment above -I know it's the sun, but looks lik a star:)

What a beautiful photo. Yes, it is true when the temperature drops, the sights are amazing. It's the crispness of the air, I think. That blue in the sky is brilliant! Thanks so much for sharing your post.
