A Lazy Flower

Not so much the flower I guess but my being lazy in capturing the image. I have a cold and don't feel like doing any more work than needed.

A walk by the Falls

Went out looking for a water fall to take a picture of and I sure found one! (Many, actually.) This is Royal Terrace Falls of Fall Creek at McDowell Creek Falls Park. A very cool place and a great place to walk around and devour an afternoon. McDowell Creek is full now and all the falls are awesome. I'll likely add other falls pictures taken today to my Picasa page soon.

Two today....

I was too busy to go and take a photo yesterday. (I was preparing photographs to hang in a Dr's office. Hung them today and they look way cool!) So I have 2 today, a chicken and a building under the clouds.

Can't take the stink!

So I suggested plugging her nose! (I helped) She opted for insence instead.

$10 Yorkie!

No, not really. But it is less than that in length! We had 3 Yorkie puppies, or Raven (PeeWee) did, this morning between 6 and 8am. This is is the larger female, Bertha, at 4 1/2 hours old and 138 grams in weight. :-) Mother and babies are doing well. (Guess what picture theme you will see for a while....)

Logging Site

I saw this near the road on the way home and liked the contrast of the sky and equipment. The clouds are striking and there was a little sun on the foreground.

Not the prittiest, but cool

Rainbow trout and they are and hungry! Taken at the Roaring River Fish Hatchery and giving them food pellets. Cheating, I know, but these fish are so cool to watch. I'll post a pretty flower picture tomorrow.

Yorkie, 6 weeks......

No, not ours, but one of Cyndy's moms. Took the picture for web info on the Yorkie puppies we are about to have. (In the next week or so.) They are like little puppy dogs at this size & age. Who knew?

Retired.......

That's what this truck is, retired. The yard this is in has many implements and vehicles in retirement, staving off the crusher and becoming your new toaster. The image is tweaked a little but the look of the truck is there. Very cool truck that my image does no justice to.

Spring is in the Air

Cherry Blossoms

If ound some nice pink blossoms this morning. No rain on them as I was hoping, but this is nice.

Gummies Escape!

I had to make something up tonight and I love the color of these gummies. That plus being in the jar with the chrome lid, I figures what a great shot it could be. I'm a bit disappointed in how the lid turned out, reflecting black and blending in. Just lets me know to watch my lighting!

Update: Interesting how this displays on different monitors. The entire lid is visible on my work computer because the velvet background is lightened up! I guess I'll never know what you see....

Blossom

It is time for a few cherry/apple blossoms. For starters, I believe this is some sort of apple. Perhaps cherry tomorrow.........

Does it *Have* to be Interesting?

I needed to show a support tech a problem we are having with our 3D printer at school. Parts are coming loose during the print process and become damaged. Shown below is a macro of one of the problem areas.

Hawks Win!

Here is one of the Hawks going for the puck controlled by a Spokane player. Great game, overtime and sudden death shoot off. Best game of the year and the last of the year. Hopefully next year will be better.

Warm and Fuzzy....

....wins over pretty flowers. This little guy was looking for a handout from William. :-) He got one.

It is a miserable, wet, gray day. Not the kind of day I would want if I were a camel! But I saw one and I *needed* its picture.........

Eastern Mountains, Morning Perspective

On the way in this morning, another view of the mountains in the pano from a couple days ago. I love the light on the clouds. I had to wait a minute to get this. When I saw this there was a thin line of light streaking across the top but by the time I got stopped it was gone. This works too. :-)

Flower, revised

Photos today were lame so I applied some artistic filters and got this. It is an improvement, but still could be better. (It a dandelion with a green ladybug on the right.)

Barn in Morning Light

I saw this with the dark fog behind in the sunrise so I stopped. I like how the barn pops out from the background. I did edit, tweaking curves, saturation, etc. in the Gimp.

I snagged a photo of this before Cyndy took it away to her office. Very hard to photograph because it is such a vibrant red.

Last Minute Flower

It is a pretty flower from Safeway, though it has folded leaves. I have already been accused of getting these for taking its picture but not true! Only 9 minutes left and nothing better (truly) to photograph! :-)
