Low Water

McDowell creek is very low right now. This fall area is perhaps 30 feet wide. Because the creek is so low there are only 2 small 3 foot wide fingers of falls flowing and this is one.

Water on the creek

Off the beaten path at McDowell Creek. Well worth the trips, slips and dirty knees.

Windblown

This little pine shrub along the beach and been badly beaten through the years. I liked the stark look and back light. Tells a story of a harsh life on the coast of Oregon.

WHOOPS! I accidently posted the same image as a couple days ago. Old removed and updated.

Both Reflection #1 from a couple days ago and this one are taken of stuff on or by Foster Lake early in the morning.

Deer in the woods

Rolled up on these (three total, one not shown) this morning after they had woke but not yet got up. First time I had seen a deer in bed! This is the only shot I could get as it was only dawn, slow lens and hand held. Oh well. the fun was in seeing them!
