Turkey!

This big boy looked quite menacing at the refuge last weekend. But he came right up to us and we talked quite a while. He had the sweetest little chirp. Very friendly and ate grass out of our hand. William was a tad skittish, but he did feed him.



Beauty is truly in the eyes of the beholder!

Deer?

William and I have a lucky day when we see deer on the way to his daycare. This morning we saw 30 wild turkeys and 3 deer. The turkeys are much less interesting.

Starfish (?)

We saw this poor guy on the beach, recently expired. I had never seen a starfish with only 3 ....arms. (?)

Seal Rock

On the beach at Seal Rock. Very cool place and would take a couple days of good weather to get the images I want.

Goose

I have no idea what tpe of goose this is but he/she sure has a big head! This model was very patient with me for quite a while. It was fun!

This little guy, from the Portland (Oregon) Zoo, was the most cooperative of posers there! Always moving, looking, striking a new pose.

Rolled up on these (three total, one not shown) this morning after they had woke but not yet got up. First time I had seen a deer in bed! This is the only shot I could get as it was only dawn, slow lens and hand held. Oh well. the fun was in seeing them!
