A couple daisies (mouse over the image for the second shot) shot in the neighbors burn pile. These guys are great subjects, as are all flowers. Shot in early morning, a little overcast, with a single flash to camera left.

ReplyDeleteahhh! perry....you're photos never fail to amaze me.
ReplyDeletei love the orderly chaos of the second photo and the lovely light and composition of the first...beautiful, absolutely beautiful.
beautiful shots of daisies. nice!
ReplyDeleteLove how the black background makes the single daisy look so dramatic! The second photo seems to highlight that each daisy is determined to grow as it wants! No community spirit! Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteThis is quite a striking photo of a daisy against the black background. Great shot. I also like being able to just move the cursor over the first photo and see a second one! Now I'm curious about how that is done.
ReplyDeleteSuch an inspiring image, Perry. I like what I have seen of your style over the last few days. Flash to camera left, you say. Shall give it a try. I have been coming to terms with my new F1.8 but the DoF is very off-putting. I do everything I can to avoid the flash, but I think the time may have come to make friends with it and make it work for me.
ReplyDeletelove your flower, it's amazing :)
ReplyDeleteI like the title over tired it fits to the flower too. Happy Monday!

a magnificent composition!
ReplyDeleteOver the weekend I was looking at somebody's dazy bush starting to carry buds and actually thought I should plant on in the garden.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo - and the title is absolutely perfect!
ReplyDeleteThe single daisy look so sad. The second image comes alive. Such contrast one from the other. I like the mouse-over feature.
