It strikes me that you are a real artist with your camera and after reading 'about me' I see that like all artists you constantly strive to improve even more... in the meantime a novice such as myself can learn from observing your work! I'm off to figure out whether I can become a follower! Larry
Q&A: hi Perry, purple glow PP: converted to HDR using Photomatix Pro, then enhanced further in PS using separate adjustment layers for the following: darkened background copy, channel mixer, blur, photo filter for warmness, then light layer, i dont have a set settings for this process as i always adjust from picture to picture. for this picture though i think its the HDR that did it, i tried this without HDR and it didnt work. Dave here.
