2 Ducks

The 2 young ducks were sunning themselves on this log by the Willamette River. It is a very interesting scene in person and I only hope a little of that is displayed here. Thanks to Scott for reminding me of doing a drop crop border on an image! Visit Scott for his Phun Prhiday photo.

  2. Looks like an alligator in the water with that reflection on the log. Hope those ducks watch out and don't get eaten. Thanks for stopping by and leaving a link and for the plug.

  4. Hi Perry, thank you for visiting my blog and leaving your link. I can only see one duck, I have tried to enlarge the photograph but unable to probably due to that lovely frame.

Have a great weekend, Jackie in UK.

  5. Hard to see ducks? One on left end, standing. Other sitting near center at crotch of upper branch. Very hard to make out. :-)

  10. I love the Willamette River - don't get there often enough, even though it runs within a mile or so of where I live. I really like this 'drop crop border' - it really makes the picture stand out.

  12. Hi Perry,
I have to agree with James - a lovely mirror reflection of the log. I absolutely love the framing you've done and must try it sometime. :)
I'm also intrigued by the mouseover technique and will come back and checkout your tutorial.
