From the weeds.....

I sure like the contrast on this one.


A fairly friendly Praying Mantis found me (hung out on my shoulder for a while) but I wanted a better background so I located him back to the wild.

    Praying mantis are fun to shoot! I thought I would see a super Macro of the eyes or head. Cool Dandelion seed shot.

    Anything against a nice blue sky is great. I love the first shot, but I am a bigger fan of insects than weeds, so I like the Mantis better. I think I need to go out and look for one. You keep on giving me ideas.

    My goodness you get praying Mantis in the wild ??!!
    We dont...:-( I am amazed by this macro shot. Wonderful, I like the DOF, excellent. Cool sky on the dandelion too.
