Monday, Florence, Oregon Coast

We took a dune excursion trip, only an hour long, and this is what I got. Lighting was too even for more drama. Fun ride though.

A couple boats in the Florence harbor. One in better shape than the other.....

Another boat and a seagull. I know, enough with the gulls.

Sunday at Oregon Coast

Much different today today, clear and warm! No sail boards in sight.

Hecata Head Lighthouse

We spent a few hours climbing sand dunes and had a lot of fun.

Saturday on the Coast

Pretty much if you are 100 yards off the beach you are in sun. On the beach was a different story exept for this littl stretch here which you could not access. The winds were around 30mph too so beach combing was not much of an option today. We hope tomorrow will be better.

I thought the bridge to be cool. I have never seen the vapor trails off of rotor blades before.

Seals near the Sea Lion Caves. This little cove has around 75 seals in company. Very cool to see them basking and playing in the wild.

William and I hung with the sail borders for a while this morning. The guy on the right has been sailing sens the 70's and I am told he is 80. He got right out there and his only complaint was ther was not quite enough wind. You are never too young!!

Central Oregon Coast

Visiting Florence for a few days so I'll be posting more seascapes and coastal images in general. I like the coast because of the nautical theme I guess , it is everywhere and just different from inland.

Moth

It was either this friendly moth that you just want to reach out and pet *or* a Daddy Long Legs spider going through what looks like molting. Spider any one?

Second Coming

I thought these flowers had all but died off due to little boys and dogs. But there are strong healthy new leaves and 8 new blossoms on and coming. Just in time to brighten summers waning days and welcome the fall.

Oh, I see others crop like this and it is a first for me. I think it works!
